Greg Marose is a Vice President at Sloane & Company in New York. He advises asset managers, financial institutions and public companies on capital markets positioning, reputation building and a range of special situations. This includes counseling founders and management teams on messaging, media relations, government affairs, and effectively reaching institutional allocators and priority stakeholders at key moments.
In addition to driving marketing communications programs for buy-side and sell-side firms, Greg specializes in shareholder activism, litigation scenarios, restrucurrings, and regulatory issues involving the SEC, FINRA, CFPB and FTC. He has strong experience working with hedge funds, private equity firms, REITs and long-only investment managers across these practice areas.
Greg previously spent nearly five years at Edelman, where he helped start the firm’s D.C. Financial Services group before joining its New York Capital Markets group. He also worked closely with practice leaders to up-tier the integration of public affairs and digital capabilities. Prior to Edelman, Greg began his career focusing on regulatory policy research at the U.S. National Archives and in the U.S. Senate during Dodd-Frank implementation. He holds a B.A. from the University of Maryland.
