Lindsey Allumbaugh is a Vice President and Media Specialist based in New York City. In this role, she advises clients in several industries, including personal finance and healthcare, on creating strategic public relations campaigns, thought leadership development and issues management. Skilled in managing and executing media relations and communication plans designed to support business goals, Lindsey is a wide-ranging contact with a passion for building and maintaining strong relationships with the media. She works with clients including The American College of Financial Services, Cvent, Privia Health and Finance of America Reverse. She also co-manages the Sloane & Company blog.
She joined Sloane & Company from Tenet Healthcare, a Fortune 500 healthcare services company. During her tenure, she oversaw several facets of the communications spectrum for seventy hospitals and wore many hats including the Director of Content and Director of Media Relations, Communications and Social Media for the Eastern Division. She empowered her hospitals to differentiate themselves by developing and implementing outside-of-the-box content strategies, marketing plans, PR initiatives, and social media activities for audiences that advanced their business objectives.
Before her time with Tenet, Lindsey spent almost a decade in the TV news industry running assignment desks in markets including Atlanta, West Palm Beach and Jacksonville. Lindsey is a graduate of Flagler College, where she received a bachelor of arts degree in broadcast communication with minor in sports broadcasting.
