Max is an Associate at Sloane & Company, based in New York. He provides day-to-day media relations, thought leadership and corporate positioning support for financial services, e-commerce and consumer clients.
Max came to Sloane from Edelman, where he worked in their Corporate & Public Affairs practice. While at Edelman, he secured numerous pieces of top-tier and prominent trade coverage for clients in the Financial Services, Technology and B2B sectors. There he worked directly with client subject matter experts to develop intellectual property and thought leadership, amplifying his clients’ brand through tactical media relations, executive visibility, and strategic issues management.
Prior to his time at Edelman, Max was at FleishmanHillard, where he supported the execution of integrated communications campaigns for their Media Relations, Social & Innovation, Corporate Reputation & Responsibility, and Consumer Marketing teams. Previously, Max was a PR Intern at Sharp Think, a boutique PR agency, and has held content creation roles in the career development and film industries.
Max holds a B.A. in Film & Media Studies from Wells College and spent two terms studying abroad at the University of York in England. Additionally, he received a graduate certificate and Master’s degree in Strategic Communications & Public Relations from Purdue University.
